He was Delta and used it only on Exec Protec stuff, inside buildings. Didn't use the stock, trained himself to go for bursts properly then transition to other weapons. Told me of one event in Lebanon. Guy was real, old friend, believe him. He said it was a LOT of training time to be proficient. Same problem I had with it, almost 40 years back, 3 round burst is too slow, 2 rounds close to each other, then a flyer, most of the time. Two round would be better. VP70M even thought it was hypercyclic, always had similar problems. I had 50 Stetchkin APS back in the early 90s, now there was a reasonable machine pistol, but it did need the stock. Very accurate in short burst, getting two rounds took practice but good when you got it down. Wouldn't give you a nickel for a Glock 18 in a fight unless it was in an elevator. I had a suppressed Trejo 22lr back in the 80s, that was a fun gun.
I never, ever had problems in 3 round burst regarding function, in any of the 93Rs that I had.
